As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Kixeye, I was a key member of the development group tasked with transitioning to the mobile gaming space and establishing work within the 3D engine Unity. My primary responsibility involved collaborating with Project Leads to develop and execute the XD vision of a product, while simultaneously ensuring that all design solutions were user-centered and intuitive.
I created multiple design solutions that prioritized ease of use and optimized the user experience. This involved all phases of the design process, including conceptual design/development, prototypes, user/task flows, art production, and game integration.
I was able to create visually appealing, highly functional, user-centered design solutions that align with project objectives.
Solution
My primary focus was on designing a scalable UX template for transitioning to mobile within the Unity 3D engine. This involved creating a set of core functions and structures that maintained the essence of the games while optimizing them for mobile devices. The goal was to ensure a seamless experience for users as they transitioned from playing in browsers to exploring the game’s 3D world on their mobile devices
