Strategic Leadership
As an Art and Design Lead for Crime City and employee #7, I have been responsible for developing a broad scope of art and UI design content. I was working hands-on in producing visual assets, from concepts to improvements for outsourced files and to hand-off to engineering.
My primary objective was to support the game's user interface and user experience and create game identity from scratch. I work closely with company founders to quickly conceptualize and iterate their vision.
I implemented and documented UI templates and assets library to improve our team's effectiveness. I proactively learned and researched new tools to elevate the quality of UI deliverables and improve workflow, ensuring that Crime City players have the best user interface and user experience possible.

Style & Experiences
I possess extensive expertise in User Interface Design and front-end development. I have been a critical contributor to the development of engaging game identities for mobile and Facebook platforms. My contributions encompassed the creation of a detailed style guide as well as user interface/experience guidelines.
The user interface (UI) I designed was both simple and functional, enabling players to navigate menus, missions, and activities with ease. The visual style was a blend of a dark, noir-inspired color scheme, and bright accents, resulting in an appealing aesthetic. Every UI element was meticulously developed for streamlined access to player stats, inventory, and social interactions, thereby enriching the gaming experience for Facebook users and early iPhone 1 users alike.
My design approach prioritized functionality and visual appeal, ensuring a seamless and immersive gaming experience for players across various platforms.

Iconography
The field of game development has always been fascinating to me, especially the art of iconography. During my time as an Art and Design Lead for Crime City, I spent a lot of effort creating a comprehensive iconography and illustration package. Icon design plays a crucial role in establishing a visual language that connects the game with the players. It involves creating a strategic system to convey information, guide gameplay, and develop an intuitive understanding for the player.
To provide players with an immersive and seamless gaming experience, I employed a sleek and vibrant design style. Consistency in design, shape, and color scheme across the game's interface was a top priority in the iconography design. Visual asset libraries were curated to document the design system for reuse and deployment across multiple games. This approach ensured that players could navigate the game seamlessly while fostering a symbiotic relationship between the game and its audience. Consequently, the gameplay became more intuitive and engaging, enhancing the overall user experience. Ultimately, the iconography design contributed to making the game more accessible and engaging, leaving a lasting impact on the players.
