True Network is a social travel app designed to change the way people collect, organize, and share their travel experiences. Whether users are discovering new destinations or returning to familiar favorites, the app helps transform moments into rich, visual stories that express their personality and perspective. It’s more than a place to log trips—it’s a platform for storytelling that ties together memories, places, and people in meaningful, lasting ways.
At the heart of the experience is the Days Story Builder, a powerful feature that enables users to create immersive travel narratives by combining photos, plans, notes, and recommendations. With intuitive controls and flexible layout options, it gives users the freedom to shape their journeys into customized, shareable stories—turning everyday moments into vivid reflections of their adventures.
Building a visual system that inspires exploration.
I led a comprehensive redesign of the app’s visual language to create a more expressive and intuitive user experience. This included a custom icon set, illustrations, and vibrant gradients designed to capture the spirit and rhythm of travel. These elements worked together to elevate the visual identity while improving clarity and usability throughout the app.
The visual system was developed alongside a modular component library grounded in atomic design principles, ensuring consistency across the interface and scalability across platforms. Customization and content organization were central to the design strategy—enabling users to personalize layouts, apply visual tags, and categorize stories to reflect their unique journeys.
User profiles and content creation tools were reimagined as flexible, engaging spaces that encourage storytelling and creative expression. Every element was designed with intentionality, supporting both functional interaction and emotional connection—resulting in a cohesive, user-centered system built for exploration, sharing, and self-expression.
