Designing a scalable system for consistent, accessible products
Building a design ecosystem to support scale and collaboration.

Our team was tasked with developing Visa’s first in-house design system to support the rapid growth of its digital payment products. The objective was to enable faster, more consistent delivery of secure and accessible user experiences across a global platform. Grounded in brand principles and usability standards, the system provided a shared foundation for designers and engineers—connecting workflows from concept through implementation. Through reusable components, structured guidelines, and flexible tools, we improved efficiency, reduced design and technical debt, and ensured alignment with Visa’s evolving product strategy and brand vision.
Defining the foundations of product design.
Every successful product begins with a strong system of core components. I was part of the team that built Visa’s foundational UI/UX libraries—establishing design standards and patterns that translated the brand’s values into consistent visual and interactive elements. This included refining iconography, color systems, and layout principles to support clarity and usability across all digital and physical touchpoints. Beyond contributing to design execution, I provided strategic support to ensure quality and alignment across teams. This structured approach helped unify the product experience and supported scalable, high-performing design across Visa’s growing ecosystem.
